This was a very unique yellow jacket treatment and removal job that we did in Malvern Pennsylvania. The yellow jackets had made a nest at the bottom of a large flower pot that the homeowners were using for wood storage for their fire pit.

What made this job unique was that the under the nest was a bottle of an “over the counter” pesticide. The yellow jackets had actually used the pesticide bottle to attach a portion of their nest. Oh the irony of a yellow jacket nest built onto a bottle of pesticide!

I could not believe my eyes when I pulled out that bottle from the flower pot and realized that it was a pesticide bottle and that the yellow jackets had used it as part of their nest.
